About the Artist
Hello! I’m a full-time painting artist, located in the Madison, Wisconsin area. I am fascinated and inspired by the magnificence of nature and all the wildlife living in it. I create optimistic art to expand our emotions of peace, joy, and love. Also, with each painting, my goal is to bring nature indoors creating a feeling of connectedness to the wilderness.
I have always been a creative person who loved nature, art, and design. I attained my Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and then a Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design. I worked as a florist for a few years, then in a corporate office for 9 years as a graphic designer, before making the risky decision to start my own business as an artist....and I'm loving it!
My medium is archival acrylic paint on high quality canvas. My earlier technique was realism, but my current focus is a painterly style that is somewhat impressionistic. A progressive goal in my art is to convey a loose mysterious feel that shows the brush strokes and texture, while still having a balance of realism.
I love painting because it is highly imaginative and I love creating beauty for others and sharing in that joy together. Art instantly changes a location and effects our emotional well-being. I hope my art helps uplift your spirit with happiness and peace.

I paint with archival acrylic paint that is non-toxic to humans, animals, and the environment. Ahh, the fresh open air. When possible, minimal packaging materials are used to help the environment. Hooray!
