About the Artist

Hello! I’m a full-time painting artist, located in the Madison, Wisconsin area. I am fascinated and inspired by the magnificence of nature and all the wildlife living in it. I create optimistic art to expand our emotions of peace, joy, and love. Also, with each painting, my goal is to bring nature indoors creating a feeling of connectedness to the wilderness.

I have always been a creative person who loved nature, art, and design. I attained my Associate’s Degree in Interior Design and then a Bachelors of Fine Art in Graphic Design. I worked as a florist for a few years creating arrangements that brightened up people's life. Later, I worked in a corporate office for 9 years as a graphic designer for a large manufacture creating designs that were seen and used worldwide, before making the risky decision to start my own business as an artist....and I'm loving it! I hope to inspire others not only through my art, but to also go for their career passions.

My medium is archival acrylic paint on high quality canvas. My earlier technique was realism, but my current focus is a painterly style that is somewhat impressionistic. A progressive goal in my art is to convey a loose mysterious feel that shows the brush strokes and texture, while still having a balance of realism.

I love painting because it is highly imaginative, and I love creating beauty for others and sharing in that joy together. Art has the magical ability to instantly transform a location and effect our emotional well-being. May my art bring a sense of joy and tranquility to your heart.
